The people have spoke & I have listened. People were getting tired of downloading gigs of info each time. I released an "Ultimate" release, and some people don't have DVD burners. Welcome aboard Ubuntu Ultimate CD Edition codename: Gnarly Gnome. This edition is totally different from any release you can download from this site, this CD allows upgrading via the icon on the desktop to any version of Ultimate. It also has a custom section allowing users to select just what they want. A build your own distro if you will. That said on to a bit of the details.

This release is a major milestone in the "Ultimate" series of distributions or distros for short, starting from this version forward upgrading from 1.4 to 1.5 etc. will be a click of the mouse away and without downloading 2GB every time. Full releases will still be availible for download. This version you will find to be much faster & more responsive, due to the many enhancements to the kernel and being based on Feisty Fawn.
