Excellent atmospheric power metal from the netherlands!


Xystus are primarily an excellent power metal band, but they manage to include heavy use of the keyboard in such as way as to create a fairly unique sound. We have none of the gothic or fantasy-laden symphonic metal music here. The best way to think of it is very solid, crunchy, and fast power metal, heavily underlined with often atmospheric keyboards, which also play an integral part as a layer of the musical structure.
