It seem PSPGen has release there first Custom firmware for 2009 , What a good way for a PSP Custom Firmware Delveloper to start out the new year and thanks it users for all their support by releasing the PSP Custom Firmware 5.02 Gen-A . Well guys, Here is a new custom firmware from pspgen.com and hope ya guys are able to have a great time with them as you did with their latest custom firmware 3.95 PSPGen they release a few months ago .

Requirements:
- A PSP with 3.52 M33-3 or higher.

Instructions:
- Extract the UPDATE folder to /PSP/GAME on your memory stick.
- Obtain the 5.02 EBOOT and copy it to the UPDATE folder with the name ‘502.PBP’.
[This step is not required if you are already on a different 5.02 custom firmware]
- Run the updater and follow the instructions on the screen.
- The battery check can be bypassed by holding L + Triangle on launch.
- Enjoy 5.02 GEN-A.
