However, one listen to this album, along with a quick trip to YouTube to check out her and her over-sized tricycle in action, will likely result in wildly mixed reactions.

To begin with, Dee’s singing voice is easily as divisive as Antony’s or Joanna Newsom’s, with its off-key croons and unpredictable undulations. Couple that with a bat-shit crazy persona and a set of songs that sound like the score from a Tim Burton film or an off-off-off Broadway play, and you have quite the acquired taste.
