The Call Of The Wild (1996)

Set in the Yukon Territory during the Klondike Gold Rush of the1890`s,this
is the story of "Buck" the family dog abducted and sold on in order to be used
as a sled dog.After many hardships and several owners he is saved from further
distress by the kindly John Thornton and a strong bond develops between master
and dog until that bond is broken by fate and "Buck",now all alone in the wilderness,
is free to respond to the call of the wild.
This version stays largely true to the original novel written by Jack London
