Torrent description

This is a basic guide for those who wish to play on EQ2EMu servers.

Compatible versions are:

- Build 4412 (Rise of Kunark DVD or Digital Download)
- Build 4427L
- Build 4523L <===
- Build 4530L

If you do not have any of these versions you will NOT be able to play the emu. Do NOT patch - it will upgrade the 4523L version.

The version is listed in the title bar when you open EverQuest 2. IT IS HIGHLY SUGGESTED YOU MAKE A DIRECTORY JUST FOR EQ2EMU IF YOU PLAY ON LIVE SERVERS - COPY AND PASTE YOUR EQ2 FOLDER TO ANOTHER DIRECTORY.

Step 1: Extract EQ2.rar to a folder.

Step 2: Create an account on the EQ2Emu Login Server, fill out the form named \'Login Account Registration\' at
http://www.eq2emulator.net/accountregistration.php
submit this form only.

[SKIP] Step 3: Open your EverQuest 2 directory and find eq2_default.ini, the first line should have \'cl_ls_address\' followed by a long list of IP addresses ( ex. 123.456.789.01 ), replace the entire line to read: cl_ls_address www.eq2emulator.net

Step 4: Run your EverQuest2.exe in the directory and when prompted for the username/password use the information you submitted in the registration form on Step 2.

This build does not include the following expansions DoF, KoS, RoK. Some zones are missing from pak.rar. All classes and races are playable.
