Make sure you use the MDS file to make sure this works.
1. Place the MDS file (RACEDRIVER3.MDS in the same dir as the download 4+ GIG image MDF file)
2. Mount the MDS file in Daemon tools Version 4
3. Use SF nightmare to disable your IDE Drivers, use disable cd, then disable Node and once again disable CD.
4. Install the game, once its installed, it will ask to restart. You have no choice. Restart the game then.
Once back in windows Again repeat disable cd, then disable Node and once again disable CD. Play the game
and it should check the disk and then boot it the fricken game finally!!!
It works on my laptop (Dell XPS M170) and desktop AMD no issues and no removed IDE cables BS!
If it doesn't work for you
A) You did it wrong! Or
B) you tried before and failed - Uninstall the Starforce driver and try again steps 1 to 4. To uninstall run sfdvrem
C) Buy the game - I did ;)
