Cinematic Mod V9 is the newest in a series of Half-Life 2 mods which strive to keep the older Half-life 2 and episodes looking modern by replacing textures with huge HD textures. V9 also ports Half-life 2 and Episode 1 into the improved Orange Box revision of the Source engine.

The HD addon is meant only for use with a 64-bit operating system. While it may work with 32-bit, it is not recommended, and will likely stutter badly no matter how good your hardware is.
