Make sure you have/make the folder:

DriveLetter:\Windows\System32\oobe\info\backgrounds



Run the Custom Login Screen registry file to get started.

The image for the login screen you want to use must be a JPEG under 200KB's and named backgrounddefault.

To get back the old default Windows 7 login screen just run the Default Login Screen registry file.
