Although the storyline was a little predictable I found it refreshing that Queen Latifah\'s character didn\'t have to change herself to get the guy in the end. I also thought it was a true reflection of what relationships are supposed to be about. I think that\'s what made this movie different. Often times a lot of the comedy/romances have over the top situations to make the audience laugh or grandeur romantic gestures to evoke emotion from the audience.

Although Commons character was a famous NBA player I think his character and Latifah\'s character brought the romance to a level that most people could relate to making it more personal.

She didn\'t get a makeover and all of a sudden he saw what a wonderful person she was.

I really enjoyed the movie.
