The installation of Active@ Boot Disk Suite is easy and intuitive, you can place the program files where you want them.

Well there I was screwed. Somehow my C drive partition information had gotten screwed. I had tried my Windows Vista disk repair utility. It had reported it had fixed the partition but hadn\'t.

Enter Active@ Boot Disk Suite! I installed it on my laptop. This particular laptop doesn\'t have CD burning software installed, not to worry the Active@Boot Disk Suite has! I burned a Active@Boot Disk Suite bootable CD put it in my other computer and with it\'s Active@ Partition Recovery in no time at all I had the C: drive partition fixed.

That of course it not all Active@Boot Disk Suite does it will do backups, file recovery, it has password changer, a Hex Editor. It also has a utility called Active@KillDisk that will wipe confidential data from unused space on your hard drive or erase data from partitions or from an entire hard disk or destroy data permanently. There are also Network tools to map network drives, view network status, renew IP address & connect to a remote desktop using RDP. Plus the System Utilities with them you can access the file system, view Task Manger and do partitioning tasks, also go to a command prompt.

There is even a set of Web Utilities including a web browser, ftp client and a telnet client.
