From the gallant fighter pilot to the untiring ground crew, from the brave pathfinder to the fearless air gunner, the Bomber crews, rescue and reconnaissance, planning and operations, non-ranks, NCO’s and officers alike, this outstanding film shows how all the men & women of the RAF contributed against the odds to bring Britain to it’s “finest hour”

A little known fact: Donald Pleasence served as RAF aircrew (Navigator I think) & was a POW for almost 2 years.
