Release Notes:

For listeners familiar with the lead single from the album
"Game Over," Black Ships should come as little surprise. The
focus here is on worlds of sound that employ analogue
synthesizers and warm, rounded drums. It's not exactly
chill-out, as there are beats to be had throughout, but it
isn't exactly peak-time fodder either. (Although "Caballero"
comes close by its end.) The press release puts it thusly: "At
once a nonfiction travel diary, and at the same time a supreme
fiction of traveling through the world of imagination, Black
Ships comes just in time to transport you beyond our fragile
planet."
