Born ten years ago in the French Alps, ALKEMYST worked hard and have strove in
the obscurity of their rehearsal room to build their melodic fast paced
progressive metal to itÆs maturity. Noticed by professionals from their demoÆs
the band eventually signed an agreement with Nuclear Blast for their first
album. A steady lineup is a strength of the band, theyÆve not had a lineup
change since 2000. Ramon Messina (Vocals) ex SECRET SPHERE) and Arnaud Gorbaty
drums (ETERNAL FLIGHT) Denis Mellion (bass) Arnaud MÚnard (guitar) and SÚverin
Bonneville (guitar).

ALKEMYST now returns with their new opus ôTHROUGH PAINFUL LANESö on Nightmare
Records. This new recording is the outcome of three years of dedication to the
love of music making, mixed flawlessly to achieve perfection.

The band took their time producing this album themselves to their own highest
standards and represents perfection in their eyes. They enjoyed working at
Taurus Studio in Geneva, Switzerland known for their work with (Sybreed, Etna,
